March 25, 2008 Meeting Summary

EricBruning gave a tutorial on the Django web framework including a demonstration of creating a functioning to-do list application. Attendance was a little low this time (6). This is probably due to the fact that web frameworks aren't something that most weather researchers use on a regular basis, and that is what most of our members are. We are going to do a more general talk in the next meeting. A request was put in for a talk on optparse and subprocess, so we'll do our best to accommodate it.
